Arrival

Your holiday home will be ready at 3:00 pm on the day of arrival. If the house is ready before 3:00 pm, you will receive a text message from us at the mobile number you provided when booking the house.

We do our utmost to have everything ready for your arrival. If, despite our procedures, the house is not clean, please contact our office immediately so that we can send our cleaning team to the house.

Please read the electricity meter and enter the reading upon arrival on the page accessed via the link we sent you in advance. If water consumption is charged, the meter reading will usually be transferred automatically and directly from the water utility and can be viewed via the guest link.

Please also enter the consumption figures upon departure.

The electricity meter is usually located outside the house.

Under the “Info” tab on the guest page, you can see where the other meters are located.

If you have ordered bed linen, a cot or a high chair, these items must be collected from our office. Outside opening hours, they can be found in our entrance area.

If you need help during the week, please contact us by email, visit our office or call us—preferably before 11:00 am, so that we have a chance to assist you at the house the same day.

Rental of additional equipment

Save space in the car

There are many things to fit into the car when the family heads off on holiday. Fortunately, you do not need to bring everything with you when packing.

You can borrow a high chair, cot or barbecue from us free of charge.

A deposit of DKK 150.00 is required for each item borrowed. The items must be collected from and returned to our office for the deposit to be refunded. Barbecues and high chairs must be returned clean.

If you depart outside our opening hours, please leave the items in the entrance area, which is always open.

Pool service

For holiday homes with a pool, our technician visits once a week to carry out pool maintenance.

We cannot say which day he will visit, but he has his own keys, so you do not need to stay at the holiday home and wait for him.

If there is anything you need to be aware of, he will leave you a note explaining when you may use the pool again or asking you to contact the office.

Cleaning
Please order final cleaning no later than three days before departure. Otherwise, please leave the house as you would wish to find it.

If you have booked final cleaning
Please leave the house tidy. Remove all rubbish and empty the refrigerator and dishwasher. Any dog hair must be removed. Arrange the pillows and duvets neatly on the beds, and return all indoor and outdoor furniture to its proper place. If you have used the house barbecue, please clean it and remove the charcoal.

If you clean the house yourself
Wipe down all surfaces, lamps and cupboard doors. Vacuum and wash the floors throughout the house. Clean the beds and furniture, and remove any dog hair—including from rugs, cushions and mats. Air the pillows and duvets and arrange them neatly on the beds.

Bathroom

Clean the bathroom(s) thoroughly. Wipe down the tiles and fixtures, polish the mirrors, and clean the washbasins, any toothbrush cups, and the toilets. Empty the bathroom bin.

Please also remember

Empty the fireplace/wood-burning stove of ash—but only if the ash is completely cold and contains no embers—and clean the glass. Ash: Please place cooled ash from any wood-burning stove or barbecue in a tightly sealed rubbish bag in the general waste bin.

Clean the windows both inside and out, provided they can be reached without any equipment. Arrange the garden furniture neatly, and clean the barbecue and empty it of charcoal.

The rubbish bin is emptied Monday to Friday.

If the rubbish bin is full when you depart, please take your general waste to one of the recycling stations:

Hovej 13 in Ho (next to Sæberiget/Junges Mini Market)

Kitchen

Clean the oven, baking trays, drawer beneath the oven, hob and extractor hood. Empty the dishwasher and clean the filter; empty and clean the refrigerator. Cutlery, crockery and other kitchen utensils must be clean, dry and returned to their proper place. Clean the sink and the cupboard beneath it, and remove all waste.

Departure

On the day of departure, the house must be vacated by 10:00 am. If cleaning has been booked for Friday or Saturday, the house must be vacated by 9:00 am. Keys must always be returned to our office, and consumption charges settled. Please remember to note the meter readings.

Our staff will inspect the house the same day. Before leaving, please make sure that all windows and exterior doors are closed and locked.

All items rented from us must be returned to the office.

If you wish to leave before our opening hours, you can settle and pay via the link sent to you. You can then simply place the keys in our letterbox by the entrance to our office. Please leave any rented items in the entrance area, which is always open.
